                  Navigating the Menus

The DRAS System continuously evaluates Dolby Digital soundtrack status
information in real-time from the DA10, DA20, or CP500 as the print passes
through the Digital Soundhead. From the data provided by the processor, the
software produces a Dolby Reader Alignment Screen that is displayed in real-
time. In order to be compatible with as many PC configurations as possible, the
system has no provision for saving or printing the results of the analysis.
However, on most machines, the "Print Screen" key can be used to print the
alignment screen if a printer is connected.

The DRAS software Rev 1.00 is completely keyboard driven. A pointing device
such as a mouse or trackball is not supported The software is based on drop-
down and pop-out menus. Moving around in these menus is accomplished by using
the following keys:
Enter, Esc (Escape), and the arrow keys, <-- and -->.

Any underlined letter in the item title (such as the R in Run) can be used as a
shortcut key to get to that item faster than using the arrow keys. For example,
rather than pressing the --> key to get from the Run item to the Quit item, the
Q key (either upper or lower case) can be pressed.

Highlighted menu items may be selected by pressing the Enter key. Pressing the
Esc key exits the alignment screen.
