Welcome to the United Artists Galaxy 9.
This spacious lobby fills up extremely fast on the weekends.
Shot of a medium THX auditorium. There are 6 total THX auditoriums
and 3 Ultra stereo auditoriums.
Two of these auditoriums suffer from poor planning and patrons in the
back row constantly block the image as they shuffle about or stretch.
Shot of one of the large auditoriums. The screens in these two
are 80 feet wide.
SRD/Dolby digital reader atop a DTS reader (setup for reverse scanning)
atop a SDDS reader on Christie P35-GP projector. The SRD system pictured
here was on loan from Film-Tech for various advance screenings including
Phantom Menace.
