  • Triangle of Sadness (2022)

This played to a sold out crowd at the Loft Film Festival in Tucson. Very clever unpredictable story about a couple models who go on a luxury cruise and "wackiness ensues." Everyone gets sea sick during the captain's dinner. A weapons maker finds one of his weapons in the field, and society gets turned upside down when only one woman among the survivors is the only person with survival skills. The 2022 version of Gilligan's Island. Highly recommended.

We did not enjoy this movie. Had a problem with the sound and lights in the cinema we saw It in the Palm Theatre San Luis Obispo CA.

Way to too long in spots early on especially the money dinner segment. The worst for my movie group was the mule animal killing. The moaning kept on going after It took some time. The boat barf parts got gross and tired not to mention the overflow toilets. Some of the acting was good and we did like the filming of the boat rocking but overall 'Triangle Of Sadness' was not a good experience for us.

Mostly not a comedy but very depressing in many parts.

The ending was strange and did leave you thinking what did take place. on the beach. Maybe they will do a sequel?
