This is the opening weekend for Harry Potter in my area:Reading Cinemas, Manville -- 3 prints, first show 11 AM, last show 11:15 PM Fri-Sat/10:30 PM Sun. Loews New Brunswick -- 6 prints, first show 9 AM Fri/8:30 AM Sat-Sun , last show 11:15 PM Fri-Sat/10:45 PM Sun. AMC Hamilton -- 6 prints, first show 11 AM, last show 10:30 PM Fri-Sat/10:20 PM Sun. Is your Harry Potter schedule just as crazy?

Cinemark Legacy 24 3 film prints, 1 DLPWeekends - First show 9:45 am last Show 11:45 pm - approx 45 minutes between shows Weekdays - First Show 10:45 am last show 10:35 pm Paul

Spiderman, with a runtime of 122 minutes ... possible schedule 11:00, 1:50, 4:40, 7:30, 10:20 (5 shows) To get 5 shows off of one print of H. Potter, one would need to run shows at 8:45, 12:10, 3:35, 7:00, 10:25 Same number of shows ... longer movies sometimes require longer operating hours. It's no scam ... just a theater trying to capitalize on a high-grossing movie by offering more options. I seem to remember theaters running shows of Episode one round-the-clock opening weekend!
