I saw this with "Home Movie"; not sure if it was released as a double-bill or if the theatre just chose to program the two together.Anyway, this is the greatest short ever. Well, not really, but it is damn funny. It's a cute little documentary shot in the parking lot before a Judas Priest concert in 1986. Imagine a series of interviews with '80s heavy-metal fans, most of whom were drunk or stoned or both at the time of the interview, and you've pretty much imagined the content of this short. It's nothing earth-shattering in importance, but it's fun to watch as these characters conform to every stereotype about '80s metal fans. This should work especially well with the right audience, many of whom will be laughing in the aisles at some of these scenes. Visually, this film looks beautifully horrible, as it was shot with the best video equipment the '80s had to offer, including tube cameras (for the smeary look!), but that just adds to the charm of this piece. Two thumbs up!
